Market

Over the years, and particularly in the last decade, thanks to cutting-edge products and constant marketing efforts, FISA has succeeded in establishing itself not only in the domestic market but also in European and international markets. This international vision is enabling FISA to achieve constant consolidation and growth, enabling it to be present with the major global rolling stock manufacturers.

The FISA Group

FISA is a family owned company by the De Simon family who founded it in 1960. The third family generation has now entered in the company and continues on the path of an entrepreneurial approach with a daily full involvement into the company. This allows FISA to continue to be quick and effective in the decisional process as it is the demand of our markets.

FISA headquarters and manufacturing site are located in Osoppo on a covered area of approximately 12.000 sqm, with a very recent investment for a new facility close to the main one. The area is on a major industrial settlement located in the north-east of Italy, a strategic position in respect of the European markets. 

In 2020 FISA has acquired IMET, that was one of the most important manufacturers in Italy for railway interiors and seats. After the acquisition a new facility was opened in Pescara on a covered area of approximately 4.000 sqm with 25 employes. Thanks to this acquisition FISA has the possibility to enlarge the products portfolio with interiors items so to offer to the customers a more comprehensive proposal and to increase the manufacturing capability. In 2026 the number of employes has excedeed 150 in a gradual and constant growth.
