FISA Srl is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Italian Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004.
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.fisaitaly.com
FISA Srl has invested resources to make its website easier to use and more accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe it is a shared moral responsibility to enable everyone to access information, products or services without obstacles or barriers, so that each person can live with dignity, equality and independence.
FISA Srl continues its efforts to address any potential digital barriers on its website and to continually improve the accessibility of its digital services, including through the UserWay PRO accessibility widget: a tool that, with the support of Artificial Intelligence, allows users to tailor and enhance their browsing experience to suit their needs.
Enabling the Accessibility Menu
Using the widget on this website is completely free of charge and helps improve the site’s compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1). UserWay PRO offers a wide range of features designed to enhance both website accessibility and the overall user experience, via a dedicated panel that appears when you click the widget icon or by using the keyboard shortcut CTRL+U, as listed below.
● Screen reader: reads all page content aloud, with no need to install an external reader.
● Dictionary: lets you look up dictionary definitions without leaving the website.
Particularly useful for people with cognitive disabilities, non-native English speakers, and more.
● Larger text: allows you to increase on-screen text size with four different zoom levels, making every part of the site easier to read straight away.
● Saturation: sets a site’s colour intensity to high, low, or greyscale.
● Contrast: reverses a website’s colours or lets you switch between light and dark contrast modes.
● Smart Contrast: adjusts the site’s colour combinations to improve contrast and make content easier to read.
● Highlight Links: makes links, buttons and other clickable interactive elements stand out with bright, high-contrast colours, so they’re easier to spot and improving usability, navigation and overall accessibility.
● Stop Animations: pauses content that moves or updates automatically and may be an accessibility barrier, stops animations and flashing content that can be distracting and may trigger epileptic seizures in people who are at risk.
● Text spacing: adjust the text and line spacing to improve readability for users with dyslexia and visual impairments, with three levels of adjustment for a more personalised and accessible reading experience.
● Line spacing: increase the line height to provide more comfortable spacing across all on-page text.
● Text alignment: align the site text to the left, right or centre to provide a more personalised and accessible reading experience.
● Dyslexia-friendly font: the “UserWay Dyslexia Friendly” font improves readability and provides a simpler, smoother reading experience for visitors with dyslexia.
● Large cursor: increases the standard cursor size by 400% so the pointer is always easy to see. Enables faster, more accessible navigation across hyperlinks, tabs and form elements.
● Tooltips: displays alternative text and ARIA labels for on-screen elements with a simple mouse hover. Tooltips are clearly visible, high-contrast and easy to read for users with low vision and accessibility needs.
● Page structure: quickly reveals page headings, landmarks and links in a clear, structured, easy-to-navigate and accessible way. Helps all users, including those with disabilities, find the content they want more quickly.
In addition to the features users can enable from the accessibility menu, the UserWay PRO widget can detect numerous site non-compliances and apply the necessary fixes in real time, without changing the source code—only what the browser displays on screen. This makes the website easier to use for all end users, including those who rely on assistive technologies.
This accessibility statement deems the non-compliances addressed by the UserWay PRO widget to be resolved, as the changes it applies meet the success criteria set out in current legislation. In this way, the website provides information that is accessible to people with disabilities.
