History

FISA srl was established in 1960 after the asset-stripping of the seat production department from the “Carrozzeria De Simon”, which produces bus since 1925. Starting as a producer of bus and train seats, it specialized afterwards mainly in the field of driver and locomotive driver seats.

The establishment of the company coincided with the beginning of a productive co-operation with the German company “Bremshey” - the world leader of the sector at that time - which was taken over by the German company “Grammer” with which Fisa srl signed an important agreement for the production of seats with “Bremshey” trademark for the whole Europe.
The earthquake of May, 6 1976, which ravaged the Friuli Venezia Giuli region, completely destroyed the factory.

Fisa srl was then completely re-built and already from 1978 the production of locomotive driver seats, driver seats and passengers seat started again.
Nowadays Fisa srl is still engaged in its increasing production focussing on technology and innovation.
