Today it has become essential to compete and prosper on the national and international markets, focusing on quality according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, compliance with IRIS (the International Railway Industry Standard) relating to our products for the rail sector, safety and health at work and correct environmental management in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 standards. F.I.S.A.’s quest is to pursue these four routes in an integrated way, constantly aiming at improving each and every activity and business process, so as to operate in markets that are subject to major developments, relying on products and services that are at the height of our customers’ satisfaction in a healthy working environment for us without any negative impacts on society’s life.
The constant application of everything spanning from being aware of the customer’s needs, both inside (assets and personnel) and outside and society in general, to the use of increasingly more sophisticated management and operational means and techniques, recognising our mistakes so as not to repeat them again and aiming at the total prevention of any negative event helps to maintain the results achieved and to constantly improve them. The company, working on the basis of quality, will pay the utmost attention to business processes being conducted in compliance with safety standards, environmental standards and IRIS (the International Railway Industry Standard).
The above is accomplished through:
- The commitment to comply with laws and regulations;
- A commitment to issue a strategic plan every three years to act to ensure that the strategies outlined in the manual are maintained;
- Observance of the F.I.S.A. s.r.l. standard in terms of railway product;
- The definition of consistent methods to ensure production and environmental efficiency of the processes;
- The priority research for safety and reliability of the FISA s.r.l. product and associated processes;
- Preventing product non-conformity;
- The constant attention to improvement of all business processes based on research, technological innovation and organizational and structural adaptation;
- Continued focus on improving the product based on field research of materials and components and the use of avant-garde methods and techniques for optimal design.
- Future-oriented vision and the need to reduce pollution and environmental impacts, ensuring health and safety at work in compliance with legislation and the laws in force.
Management is committed to allocating the necessary resources and taking an active role in the promotion and guidance of all activities having an influence on the quality, health and safety of workers and the impact that the company could have on the surrounding environment by spreading the concepts outlined herein at all levels, ensuring that the results obtained are verified.
In order to implement these policies, F.I.S.A. s.r.l. considers the following to be necessary:
- To ensure the best communications flow inside and outside the company;
- To promote and implement training programs and staff qualifications at all levels in order to optimize the growth process of human resources that constitute the most important investment;
- To promote involvement and awareness of staff participation in the research and proposals for solutions to problems relating to quality, safety and environment, focusing on consistent and continuous improvement of the products, processes, services, labour and environmental conditions;
- To implement an Integrated System according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 and the legal requirements in force regarding health and safety at work;
- To ensure that the products conform to IRIS – the International Railway Industry Standard and other applicable European directives;
- To ensure compliance with the requirements of quality, quantity, timing, safety at work and impact on the environment, as well as the quality / price ratio, in accordance with the standards specified, by defining and monitoring the appropriate process indicators;
- To monitor the performance of our suppliers by involving them in the promotion and implementation of processes and procedures of mutual benefit, ensuring that they are in line with the criteria of the overall context relating to quality, safety, environment and mandatory rules / standards;
- To promote technological innovation aimed at supporting a better and more efficient management of all business processes as well as to enable improvement in quality and to broaden the range of its products;
- F.I.S.A. s.r.l. agrees to make this corporate policy available to the public or to whoever has specifically requested it;
- To appoint the manager of the Environment Management System and Quality Management System, representing the General Directorate from whom specific authority has been delegated to ensure the correct application of the Management System.
